Would you like to learn more about Beta Sigma Phi, the Atlanta City Council and Kappa Mu Chapter?
Just use the easy email link in the upper right corner of our website to send a message to our chapter. Please tell us your name, provide a phone number and let us know your general location in the Atlanta metro area. A representative from Kappa Mu will phone you to answer your questions! If your location isn't in the north metro area, we can help you find a chapter convenient to your home. We can also help you find a chapter in another area council (such as DeKalb/Gwinnett) or we can help you connect to a chapter anywhere, with the assistance of our International office in Kansas City.
What if I move away?
Membership is transferable -- so you can connect with our sorority wherever you may live. Beta Sigma Phi has chapters in all 50 states and around the world! You will have sisters waiting to meet you at your new home city, where you can start off with a brand new network of special friends.
Can I find out about Beta Sigma Phi online?
Certainly. Just enter http://www.betasigmaphi.org/ into your search bar. You can also search for Beta Sigma Phi on Google or other browsers, and you will find the sorority described in Wikipedia.
Is this a college sorority?
No. Beta Sigma Phi is the largest Greek letter organization for women in the world, and it is not affiliated with a college or university (though there may be a chapter at some universities). It is truly international, with chapters in many countries. You do not need a college degree to be a Beta Sigma Phi. Beta Sigma Phi's motto is "Life, Learning and Friendship". We are a social, cultural and service organization.
What is the age range for members?
We have members from 18 to well over 80 years of age! We have a tradition of introducing our daughters, granddaughters, nieces, and other special young ladies to Beta Sigma Phi through our "legacy" program. Some Beta Sigma Phis have three generations actively participating in sorority!
